Beware of Scammers Pretending to be AMZ Optimized

AMZ Optimized LLC has been informed of fraudulent activities conducted by a group based in Asia falsely claiming to represent our company. These individuals are illegally using our name, logo and counterfeit websites to deceive people with fake employment opportunities for remote work, often involving simple tasks. These job offers are typically sent through platforms such as WhatsApp or Indeed and victims are later asked to pay fees to “upgrade” or access supposed payments for completed tasks and bonuses.

This fraudulent operation is under active investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Interpol, and Singaporean and Chinese Law Enforcement Agencies.

How to Identify This Scam

• Fraudulent communications and websites may use domain names resembling “amz******.com”. These are not affiliated with AMZ Optimized LLC. Our only official website is amzoptimized.com.
• AMZ Optimized LLC will never contact individuals regarding job opportunities through WhatsApp or similar messaging platforms.
• AMZ Optimized LLC will never request payments or fees from job applicants or employees.
• Be cautious of any job offer promising payment for rating or liking online content. That’s illegal. No honest business would do this.

Steps to Take If You Are a Victim

If you have been affected by this scam;

1. Report it immediately to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
2. Report it immediately to FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) at ic3.gov for further assistance.
3. Report the scammer to WhatsApp within the WhatsApp application.
4. Notify AMZ Optimized LLC using the disclosure form below.
